In Collier County alone, there are 58 non-profit arts groups and cultural destinations, according to the United Arts Council of Collier County. Such groups include a full range of organizations, from large to small, like The Philharmonic Center for the Arts, the von Liebig Art Center, the Sugden Theatre and volunteer groups like the Bach Ensemble, the Pastel Society and the Barbershop Chorus.

Naples Philharmonic

Naples Philharmonic was founded in 1982 and now performs over 140 orchestral and chamber concerts, as well as opera and ballet, education, community and special event concerts between September and June each year.

The Baker Museum

The Baker Museum is the foremost fine arts museum in Southwest Florida. Collier County Museum

Nestled on five acres of native Florida gardens, the Naples Museum showcases two historic cottages, a working archaeology lab, a Seminole village, tropical orchid house, wildlife displays, a 1910 steam logging locomotive and a recreated Seminole War fort.

Edison and Ford Winter Estates

Visitors enjoy 20 acres of historical buildings, historic gardens, the Edison Botanic Research Lab and the Edison Ford Museum. The newly restored buildings include the Edison Main House, Guest House, and Caretaker’s House and the Ford House. The 1929 historic landscape is throughout the property including the award winning Moonlight Garden. The Edison Ford Museum has hundreds of inventions, artifacts and special exhibits.

Naples Depot Museum

The Museum is set in Naples’ restored Seaboard Air Line Railway passenger station, and welcomes visitors back to the railroading boom days of the Roaring Twenties and explains how generations of Southwest Floridians used technology and transportation to conquer a vast and seemingly impenetrable frontier. Seminole dugout canoes, a mule wagon, antique swamp buggy, restored rail cars and exciting interactive exhibits tell the story of how trade and travel transformed Naples from a napping village of 300 souls into today’s glittering Gulf coast resort.

Museum of the Everglades

Located in historic Everglades City, Florida, Museum of the Everglades is devoted to displaying local history from early Native American times to the present. Permanent exhibits tell the story of adventurers stubborn enough to persevere in Southwest Florida’s “Last Frontier”. The Pauline Reeves Gallery offers monthly exhibits from local, and regional artists. The Museum of the Everglades is part of the Collier County Museum system.
